Sport Psychology For Athletes
Mental Performance Training For Athletes
We are dedicated to helping highly motivated athletes — from the high school through Olympic and professional level — improve sports performance. Our mission is to enable athletes to perform at their optimal levels while getting the most enjoyment possible from sports. We do this by providing high-quality sport mindset training.
Whether you are in a slump or playing with confidence, or somewhere in between, we have the tools to help AMPlify your performance.
Our Mental Performance Consultants are available to work with individual athletes remotely by phone, Skype, or FaceTime. In some cases, we travel to meet with athletes face to face, as well.
We do not diagnose, treat, or provide psychological or psychology services, such as depression, eating disorders, or drug abuse. However, we do have an extensive network of qualified psychologists and will be happy to provide referrals.
How Does Sport Psychology Help Athletes?
Our philosophy in working with athletes is that we are part counselor and part teacher. Our goal is to help you “AMPlify” your game: Analyze, Maximize, Personalize!
Analyze: We learn about you. We help you identify and build awareness of the problems that you face, areas for improvement, and your strengths. From this awareness, you can then develop strategies for enhancing your natural abilities and overcoming your weaknesses, as well as improving your sports motivation.
Maximize: We help you maximize your strengths to become mentally focused and physically energized. The goal is to help you improve performance both on and off the field.
Personalize: No two athletes are the same! We customize solutions tailored for your individual needs. You will learn strategies that you can practice and implement every day. With continued practice, these strategies become second nature during performances.

Programs We Offer
With sport psychology, there is not a one-size-fits-all approach. To AMPlify your game, we need to know the specifics of where you are, where you’ve been, and where you want to go! That said, our work is not a quick fix or a one-time solution. So we have created packages that will allow us the proper amount of time to implement the strategies and answers you need.
Pro Athlete Chris Started Enjoying Again
“I started seeing Brian at AMPlify, after a particularly low point in my racing career. Since then, not only have my results improved, but he’s given me the tool to be my own coach and sports psychologist when it counts: on the playing field. Thinking about both the long-term and the nitty-gritty, Brian has improved my game AND returned a sense of enjoyment and fulfillment to my practice of triathlon. If you want to take your play to the next level, you should see him ASAP.”
